The Roll of the Veil
All boards →How a journey is scored
- Focus: every horror unmade raises it, a perfect Step raises it more, a hit halves it. It multiplies what you unmake and each boss's bounty, up to ×5.
- Every arena is graded: S means never hit, and inside par. A return from the dark caps it at C.
- Swiftness and Unbroken: points for each second under par, and 1,000 for an arena with no hit.
- Difficulty: Dreamer counts half, Nightmare half again. Trials, on the title, replay any arena you have reached.
How to play
- Move — WASD · left stick
- Aim — mouse · right stick
- Violet Lance — hold left mouse · RT (twice as strong up close)
- Syndesic Step — Space · A. Step through danger at the last moment for Three Heartbeats.
- The Narrowing — E · B. Confine horrors in a circle that collapses.
- Rewrite — R · Y, when charged. Make the Nightmare obey weight.
- Memory shards — when hit, grab your shard back before it fades, or a horror eats it.
The Veiled Architect
Meet her before you walk in
