Welcome, Traveler
The World of Kworgale
Kworgale is a dark fantasy world where ancient empires clash, cursed bloodlines shape the fate of nations, and magic always demands a price. This is the setting of The Cursed Blue Rose — a saga told in music, in film, and in an encyclopedia you can walk through. The story is still being written. The world is already here.
What You'll Find Here
This website is the living encyclopedia of Kworgale. As the story unfolds, new characters, locations, lore articles, and magic systems will be added. Think of it as a companion to the story — a place to explore the world beyond the pages.
Reading, watching and playing need no account — every page, every film and the game are open to all. A free account adds two things: bookmarks saved to your Codex, and your runs on the leaderboard.
Your Journey
Follow these steps to immerse yourself in the world of Kworgale.
Watch the Saga
The fastest way in. 60 films made for this world — the six daughters, the wars, the cities, the gods. Nothing to read. Give it three minutes and you will know whether Kworgale is yours.
Play the Game
Take up the Blue Rose as Merynia in Where the Ash Still Breathes, a free game you play right here in the browser. Cut through the Legion of Ash, gather your boons, and face Rysalia before the dark drowns the last ember.
Meet the Characters
Warriors bound by cursed blood, sorcerers wielding forbidden arts, and queens whose ambitions threaten to unravel the world. Start with the people who shape Kworgale's fate.
Explore the World
From frozen citadels to ash-choked plains and harbours that answer to no throne. Chart your own path across the interactive map — seven cartographic layers over a drawn world — or read the Atlas city by city.
Discover the Races
Races shaped by millennia of war, magic and survival — the great peoples of the Renewal, and the smaller kindreds who outlived it. Each carries bloodlines and traditions that decide its place in the world.
Powers & Faiths
The powers that hold the map between them, and the faiths that hold everything else. Who rules where, who believes what, and which of them are quietly at war with each other.
Uncover the Lore
The gods, the ages, the faiths, and the ordinary business of living in a world that has burned more than once. Read it loose, or read it as a chronicle — in order, from before the calendar to the present age.
Understand the Magic
Magic in Kworgale is not free. It has rules, costs, and consequences. Learn the systems of power that shape every conflict and every character's destiny.
