1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your email address when you create an account or subscribe to our newsletter. We also record anonymous usage: page views through Vercel Web Analytics, and a small set of site events (for example, which page a visit started on, the site or tag that referred it, a signup, a quiz result, or a finished game run). These events carry a random per-visit identifier, not your name or email; when you are signed in they are linked to your account.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to provide and improve our services, send newsletter updates you have opted into, and maintain the security of the website. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Newsletter Subscriptions
Joining the newsletter is always your choice: nothing is ticked for you. When you subscribe, we store your email address to send you lore updates, new films, music and chapters. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and your mail app's own “Unsubscribe” button works too.
4. Cookies
This website uses cookies for authentication and to remember your preferences. These are essential cookies required for the site to function properly. The visit identifier described above lives in your browser's session storage and is cleared when you close the tab. Embedded video players (YouTube and Rumble) may set their own cookies when you play a film; YouTube players run in its privacy-enhanced mode, which sets none until you press play.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, Resend for email delivery, Vercel for hosting and page-view analytics, and YouTube and Rumble for embedded video. These services have their own privacy policies governing their handling of your data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also opt out of newsletter communications at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact us.
