The Cursed Blue Rose
Thirvandor is not part of Kworgalya. It lies far to the east across open water, past the last of the charted isles, and the map draws it apart from the continent entirely — a separate country with its own coast and its own name. The Sunspire Forest stands beside it.
How far the land runs, what lies inland of the coast, and who else may dwell there the Atlas does not record.
A single settlement upon Thirvandor appears in the ledgers: Astaurum, standing on a river in grassland, a place of scholars answering to no power on the continent. It is counted among the greatest cities of the world.
That so great a city should sit alone on an unmapped landmass, a full ocean from the nearest charted town, is the sort of thing that starts arguments in the ports of the east. Sailors give the crossing a wide berth. Whether that is prudence or something more deliberate is not written down.
