The Cursed Blue Rose
Open grass runs to the water's edge at Flammund, and the city takes everything that country offers: pasture, a lake, and clear ground to drill and ride on. Grain and herds keep it fed through the year. The rest of its income arrives armed — Flammund raises fighting men, hires them out to those who will pay, and keeps what raiding brings home, so that a good season is counted in harvest and in haul both. It was raised in the fourth wave of expansion and grew substantial on that arithmetic, a place built to move quickly and to come back heavier than it left.
The faith here is the Infernal Creed, a hard thing that prizes mastery over others and makes no apology for wanting it, and it sits easily beside the city's trade. Flammunders are Suvanar. Flammund rules in its own name and stands within the wider Creed, while the neighbouring seats of the centre keep neither its allegiance nor its faith.
